A network for new and aspiring library professionals
The ethos of NLPN is to create a network for new and future library professionals, a network where, collectively, we can explore and develop our knowledge and practical skills in key areas of the information sector. After the success of the first call for papers where we received presentations on varied topics such as starting a library society at university to moving library spaces in your first professional post, ourselves and CILIP Yorkshire & Humberside have decided to issue a call again for three speakers to share knowledge on a library issue they are passionate about. This is an exciting opportunity to gain some experience in presenting at an event and would look great for CVs (hint hint!!). The presentations will be 10 minutes, and delivered at our collaborative event with CILIP Yorkshire & Humberside on 21st March 2015 in Sheffield.
If any of these apply: Submit a PowerPoint (or similar) presentation, complete with notes to firstname.lastname@example.org The NLPN team need to receive presentations by Monday 16th February. We will notify all applicants and issue the full event line up the following Monday (23rd February). Please contact us on twitter or by email if you’d like to discuss an idea before submitting a presentation.
