A network for new and aspiring library professionals
The ethos of NLPN is to create a network for new and future library professionals, a network where, collectively, we can explore and develop our knowledge and practical skills in key areas of the information sector.
With that aim in mind we have included in our recent events an opportunity for new and early career professionals to present on a topic of their choice. For inspiration, you might look to a work project, a dissertation topic or a personal project. Previous presentations have covered topics such as setting up a research support service in a newly-created role, the LISDIS conference and how to use Raspberry Pi to create a Pirate Box/Library Box.
This opportunity is open to everyone and submissions are welcome from groups as well as individuals.
If any of these apply: submit a PowerPoint (or similar) presentation, complete with notes to firstname.lastname@example.org by Wednesday 25th May. We will notify all applicants and issue the full event line up by Friday 27th May. Please contact us on Twitter or by email if you’d like to discuss an idea before submitting a presentation.
